Description
This rare cased set features a consecutive pair of Colt Third Generation Storekeeper’s Model Single Action Army revolvers, both chambered in .45 Colt with desirable 4-inch barrels and black powder-style frames. Manufactured in 1986, each revolver is marked "COLT STOREKEEPER'S MODEL" on the left side of the barrel and displays the classic two-line Colt address on top. These revolvers retain the traditional three-line patent stamp on the frame and are finished in striking Colt blue and color case hardening.
Both pistols are exceptionally well-matched, with consecutive partial serial numbers and clear evidence of Colt’s transitional factory renumbering (with prior numbers "271" and "372" crossed out). This collector-grade set comes complete with factory boxes and shipping sleeves, housed in a fitted presentation case. Condition is near-new with only the faintest evidence of handling or storage—making this a standout pair for Colt collectors or anyone drawn to unique production variants.
